Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
We’re seeking a Regional People Partner to help shape and drive our people strategy across Latin America. You’ll join a growing team of around 50 employees - primarily in Chile, Brazil, and Uruguay - and play a pivotal role in preparing the region for exponential growth.
As a close partner to the Regional Director (to whom you will report directly), you’ll be instrumental in building the HR function from the ground up, balancing hands-on HR delivery with strategic foresight. Functionally, you will also report in a dotted-line relationship to the Head of Regional People Management, based at our global headquarters in Germany. You’ll work closely with the Corporate People Management Community to bring company-wide HR standards and initiatives to life in the Latin American context.
If you're energized by the opportunity to scale operations, co-create structures, and influence organizational culture, this is a role where you can make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to managers in all operational and strategic HR matters and ensure appreciative employee relations conduct across the region.
- Collaborate directly with the Regional Director to shape the people and organizational roadmap.
- Partner with the Head of Regional People Management and Global Corporate HR to align regional practices with global strategy.
- Manage and ensure a positive employee experience in all aspects of the employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, and offboarding.
- Guide local leaders on workforce planning, team structures, and organizational development.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company-wide HR standards.
- Champion our values and drive a strong, cohesive culture.
- Support and oversee payroll and HR administration for quality and compliance with local legal requirements as well as Bürkert Code of Conduct.
- Contribute to global HR initiatives and adapt them for regional relevance.
- Lead and support change processes to help the region scale effectively.
What You Bring
- Approx. 5 years of HR experience, ideally in operational roles within dynamic, growing organizations.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices across Latin America.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Ability to balance day-to-day HR delivery with strategic thinking.
- Collaborative mindset, with a proactive and independent working style.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
